Given the essential role of vocabulary in all aspects of academic competence, it is pertinent that all educators gain knowledge of current State Standards in relation to vocabulary. Building Vocabulary is a seven-week course that will further participants’ knowledge of how to assess and teach vocabulary while creating a scope and sequence relevant to their current school curriculum. Participants will gain access to technology tools and a variety of activities to implement in the classroom.
